Sky Priority?
 

Riddle me this...every time I leave ATL, my home airport, my boarding pass says "Sky Priority." However, every time I return, regardless of the city, I am not "Sky Priority."
In the past three weeks I've asked numerous GAs in LAS, LAX and RIC if they had any idea and they all shrugged and looked at me as if I were crazy.
Oh, and I do have a platinum Delta Amex and am obviously a SkyMiles member, but am not any Medallion status.
Any ideas? I'm just really curious...Thanks!

No, and on most of the flights, I wasn't even in a "priority" seat.

Maybe Delta's way of showing status recognition to an AirTran A+ Elite customer? It's more than Southwest ever will do for ya. ;)

Are you participating in the TSA PreCheck program (via Global Entry/NEXUS)?
Don't know how it works at ATL, but at DTW you need to go through the SkyPriority lane to get to the TSA PreCheck lane. Not sure how this is handled for non-status or Silver Medaillions unless Delta gives them SkyPriority access.

No, I'm not, though I'd like to. It's just completely random, which is why it's so baffling. Don't get me wrong - not complaining in the least, but I could really use that Sky Priority for those horrible LAS lines but never have it coming back.
