Since we can't use the 800 numbers from abroad, can the DM line have a collect #? Not going to be expensive, as most of the time one can link to wireless and use skype, etc. But sometimes it is not possible, and then international roaming is a 'killer'. Collect is actually very cheap to a vendor compare to the cost for a caller (i.e. u'll pay 0.65 a minute, and the vendor collect would pay 0.05 or so)

OP here:
I didn't lay him out because I was agog at such petty behavior and lowering myself to his standards was not an option. Karmically, it all worked out in my favor. When I went to board for AMS-JFK - I got an op up. What comes around, goes around.
(FYI, I use the ticketing desk at CDG because the folks behind the desk have personal relationships with their colleagues at AF and KL and in the past that has been the defining factor in them pulling off a request, especially as my flts yesterday were on AF & KL metal.)

Modified DYKWIA
Platinum guy (I saw the tags) relegated to exit row with me is getting on the plane. This is a direct quote to the FC flight attendant just now:
"As a multiyear platinum, I'm deeply disappointed that people in first class take so long to store their luggage."
After he walked past, FA gave me a look that says, "Well, aren't we honored to be in your presence, you pompous d#%che no$$le."

Two reactions:
1. yes, I was wondering why my eyes were burning.
2. But was it the tag or the PM himself?
He was butt ugly and a loud bluetooth talker.
Questions: Is he your mascot? Is this representative of guys who fly delta all the freakin' time?

He is probably a KM... and the KM is DL's official new mascot.
