I've just checked in. My original fare is M. The boarding passes came out with Y. The agent said I looked like full Y in the system and the upgrade code was UP2A. The fare basis on the pass is MA00A0OP and so far I'm the #1 on both lists. The one for ATL-SFO is already 33 people deep.

Your BP says "Y" due to a recent DL change... Nothing to do with the SWU. Congrats on getting it coded properly! You should remain #1 unless another DM using an SWU and on a higher fare (Y/B) gets on the list. Ironically enough, I'm in ATL right now at A32. Safe travels!

i just checked in for a flight leaving today. I was 6th on the list as a PM with a B fare. So i called up applied a SWU and it moved me up to number 1 out of 36 for 3 seats. So mine was coded properly as a UP2B (PM). I think this is a great use SWU since it is hard to find M+ fares at a good price internationally. My flight tonight is 4 plus hrs.

my boarding pass also says Y now as well. It said B yesterday before i applied the waitlist SWU PU503 cert

How are you folks seeing UG code/status for UP2A?

They are probably asking the agent. There is no public way to see the coding.

And you just ask the agent what the UG code is??? I have hard enough time having agents tell me the order, thank goodness for the app.
