Sun chips

I had Sun Chips on the flight from ATL-ORD today. Bischoff cookies though were not in the basket.

Goodbye Goldfish!

Just come over from the AA army, and thought "whats so great about sun chips... hmmp..." before I saw this. Now that is some great enhancement!
Goldfish :td::td: Sun Chips ^ :)

This week saw a lot of variety: apples, pretzels, peanuts, Sun chips, Gold fish, toblerones, Twix, the Walkers shortbread cookie, and even one blessed Biscoff.

Damn! I was asleep the other day when they brought the basket around. Original Sun Chips are by far the best. Garden Salsa and Harvest Cheddar are the Scottie Pippen and Toni Kukoc to the original's Michael Jordan. Respectable, but never an all-time great.

It seems they're now only offered during breakfast hours, which is dumb. I appreciate the effort to differentiate the snack basket by time of day, but apples and bananas shouldn't be limited to specific periods since they're the only substantial and healthful offerings. I raise this point every time I receive one of those surveys about in-flight service.

Four flights this week... all with Sun Chips.

But, no chocolate (of any form) on several of them.

I haven't seen chocolate in a few weeks either. Where are all my Twix and Snickers? ;)

If only they had biscoff flavored sun chips!!!

Excellent news. I think it's been close to two years since the original Sun Chips disappeared from the basket.

May be old news, but I noticed for the first time the other day a much more breakfast-appropriate selection for morning flights.

PNS-ATL yesterday (1/28/2012) in First... Original Sun Chips in the basket but the FA ran out by the time the snack basket got to me in 4B... I asked if she had more and she said "they are soooo good- let me check". After "checking", she produced a MASSIVE bag filled with multiple bags of them and said "I'm so glad these are back!"

No bananas to be found though....
