Upgrading Alaska leg using Skymiles?

I've booked a (paid) trip from DCA to HNL via LAX on 006 stock.

DCA-LAX is in T on Alaska.
LAX-HNL is in K on Delta.

Is there a way to do a SkyMiles mileage upgrade on the Alaska/land leg, either as part of a single-itinerary upgrade with the Delta/water leg, or as a separate upgrade transaction?

Thoughts?

Don't think so. Though you are free to ask for paid upgrade availability, day of departure.

For what it's worth, DCA-LAX is one of the most difficult upgrades in the AS system. It is difficult for AS members to use certificates or miles to upgrade, so the likelihood of seeing paid upgrades at the gate is near zero. That is, unless one wishes to pay the fare differential.
