GoGo on regionals<?>

I am flying MSP - PIT Wednesday night, on an Embraer 175, and wondering if it might have GoGo wifi .... or, of not, when these planes will have this ....

They say it is coming. Didn't DL announce a few months back that gogo had been installed on either a 175 or a 900 for test purposes.
Here it is on the delta blog

I don't know about 175's or 900's, but I flew a 700 ATL-XNA-DTW on the 12/30 that had gogo. So, there are definitely regionals out there with it, it's just a matter of figuring out which ones.

Slowly but surely it's coming to RJs. I was on a Comair CR7 back in October (PWM-LGA if anyone's interested), I think it was N398CA, and that had wi-fi.

I've been on a bunch of Mesaba CR9s in the last few months and none of them had it. By the way, RIP Mesaba

An FA told me a couple weeks ago that they were having technical issues getting GoGo installed on the 175's

They are in the process of installing it on the 2-class regional fleet. I've seen it, and used it on a variety of aircraft including:

EV CR7
S5 E70

As said, I've haven't seen it on any of the XJ CR9's yet.

I've had it on RJs. What do the symbols on your itinerary say?

I haven't seen any RJ flights in the skd's have the icon next to them.

Gogo today claims service on 1,327 aircraft, which means Delta has about as many Gogo-equipped aircraft as all other airlines combined.

Delta has far more GoGo than AA. All mainline DL has GoGo, and I think the RJ fleet is scheduled to be done by summer (don't quote me on that), but it is at 42% now.

I've been on a few RJs with GoGo. No, I have no clue which ones. No, the Wifi symbol does not show up in reservations or booking yet, probably because tail numbers are not assigned that far out, the same way domestic metal with EC (except JFK-SFO/LAX) does not show up as EC.

You're right. I thought I had seen it, but there were mainline to RJ connections.

Was on a CR9 today (N137EV, Operated by ASA) that had it installed and activated. It surprised me since I had only heard of that one CR7 having it installed with no other reports since then. For the record it did not show on delta.com that it was equipped with wifi.

I'm sure I have had wifi on CRJ-900s and E175s to/from MSP.
