E170s now all 9F?
 

According to Delta's "Product Progress Page" all E170s now have First Class.

There were a handful of Compass E170s flying around in 70Y. There were Shuttle America planes flying around (mostly in LGA) with 6F/64Y, and then there were a few Shuttle America planes flying around (mostly in DTW) with 70Y. It looks like all have been converted to 9F/60Y.

In the LGA Slot Swap Schedule thread, someone pointed out that the config *is* 9F/12EC/48Y. This would confirm what I heard earlier that when standardizing all E170s to First Class, they would get their Economy Comfort section at the same time. Has anyone flown on a 9F E170 that can confirm whether they have Economy Comfort?

Good for Delta for both adding First Class to planes that were single class, as well as increasing First Class (from 6F to 9F) while also incorporating Economy Comfort. Win-win for everyone it seems.

As long as the E175s don't go down to 9F...

Was on an S5 fligh with one of these earlier today. I actually showed up at the airport expecting a CR7 given the seat map And realized something was off when the E170 was parked at the gate. The plane couldn't have had but a few cycles with the new interior as it was still clean and the seats showed nO sign of wear.

I can't speak for EC config, but I did notice that row 4 (Y) was closer to the back of my seat than I recall on other E170/5 configurations.

My opinion only - the E170 row 1, seat A is the NICEST non BE, front-cabin seat in the entire domestic fleet. Lots of elbow room, lots of legroom, and a big window at eye level make it nice.

All Compass E170s have been configured to 9F/60Y.

So it is good to hear that all E170s are now in a common, 9F configuration. Has anyone been able to confirm that rows 4, 5 and 6 are Economy Comfort rows? I have heard some people claim that they all have Economy Comfort, but those people only heard that to be the case, not actually witnessed it in person. Anyone experience this yet?

+1 to both the above. I haven't flown on the 170, but on the 175 it was the best seat in the domestic fleet.

Well, since I work on them, I can answer that one. I believe that all of the Shuttle America E170's have been converted to 9F/12EC/48Y. They sent these down fairly quickly to get the cabin mod's done.
