Started at ground ZERO. Just a SM member. Ended at Diamond. Will be Diamond next year and already have 20 flights booked for 2012. My life has changed dramatically due to a new job.

Been PM since 1997, and made DM this year starting with 45K rollover. Will certainly make PM in 2012, probably not DM again. PM in 2010 on CO/UA as well, but only FO in 2011 and just barely made it for 2012.

Moving down to Gold. been Platinum since 2003 and that was with 43k miles rolled over to start - obviously not a big flying year for me at all

Not as impressed with Diamond this year as last mainly due to the 72h rule for change/re-deposit award tix. May start to reduce my discretionary travel after 2013, it is just not worth the hassle.

Started the year PM, ended DM with just 2,000 and change in rollover. Will probably have no trouble getting back to PM, but may make DM with some upcoming TPAC and TATL travel planned for early 2012.

Started 2011 DM, will be DM in 2012. The 2010 MQM bonuses (especially PIT) made it easier for sure. This year had to actually sit in seats for 125K miles.

2011- Started as Kettle, Made FO last week on 100% BIS. Rolling over 128 miles 
2012- will likely requal for FO by April thanks to training and international on-boarding for my new job. May go for GM with personal travel if I don't make it on work trips.

Ended 2010 with ~ 47K MQMs. Got fed up with all the changes and benefit reductions, and haven't been on a Delta flight or earned any SkyMiles since. I've been Silver all year in 2011, and with the MQM carryover I'm only 3K away from Silver for next year, but I'm not doing any EOY mileage run or buying the the 4K MQMs that I'm short. I do not trust Jeff Robertson or the Delta SkyMiles program, so I've taken my over 100K miles per year of domestic and int'l traveling to another carrier where I at least have some faith in the frequent flyer program.
