Holiday Plans: Where are you going?? Or staying home?
Three more days of work and then I am officially in holiday vacation mode! And would rather talk Christmas/Holiday Vacation than do work right now. ^ What are everyone's travel plans and when? Airports will be zoos with all of the non-FF families traveling.
I'll be travelling NYC-SAN on the 22nd (which I *think* should be better travel day than the 23rd, but not by much).

Keeping my feet in one place for three weeks straight before the 2012 travel hits. Best vacation I could ask for, despite the Midwest winter weather.
Finished my last run of the year with a delayed flight out of SNA and a missed connection in MSP.
And received a $10 food coupon (looks similar to a boarding pass).
"Thank you DL, may I have another?"
Funny note about the coupon, a man in line next to me saw me pass the coupon to a food attendant and asked me if I just showed them my boarding pass for a free meal. I told him, "Yes, when you get to be a Kryptonian Medallion, Delta provides free food wherever you go."

Done for the year
258K with rollover - 143 MQMs actual. Missed 2 upgrades. 71,500 in customer relations bonus - not a good year for me and Delta on that account.
Spending time at the beach instead of in the air for the rest of the year.
Start again in January...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Next two weeks will be a staycation for me, my last flight of the year (#182) was last week, BF upgrade, I hit the road again on 3 Jan. Safe travels everyone, and happy holidays.

SLC-ATL[hit Diamond on Christmas Day, dinner at One Flew South]-CHS[3 days vacation]-ATL-MCO[3 days including New Year's Eve in Disney with kids, Lord help me]-SLC[6 AM on New Year's]

PBI-HPN on the 22nd (booked on JetBlue for the direct flight and will still get to enjoy the SC )
LGA-PBI on the 27th (with GM Mrs. Deemus on an A319 with a K fare)
FLL-BNA on the 30th (on WN) for our alma mater's bowl game (GO DEACS!!!!!)
BNA-ATL-FLL on the 31st (again with Mrs. Deemus on two separate o/w tickets)
That last leg is segment 140 on the year, so I'll miraculously keep Diamond with 112,125 MQM's. Glad (or sad?) to join the ranks of segment qualifiers.
Hit 99 of the 107 upgrade eligible flights thus far, the vast majority at T-6. I hope this continues is 2012, as I hit the road again on January 3rd. The last time I went more than a week without being on a plane was the week of July 4th. No rest for this road warrior!

Headed with the girlfriend to Mardid(12/27-1/4) via CDG. Getting to try the A380, very excited. If anyone is going to be flying AF out of JFK on the 27 I plan on doing some lounge hoping would be great to meet a fellow FTer
