Bed Bugs on a DL Flight? Seriously?

Seems a passenger claims she got bed bugs from one of her DL flts and is demanding a full refund. As always, lots of unanswered questions but is her claim unreasonable? At the very least, the claim for full refund should be enough to make her an honorary member of FT. :D

Haha, one of Delta's "solutions" was to move her to economy class, that's cold.

From the article - "If that’s true, then why would it be OK to unleash a swarm of bedbugs on economy class passengers, and not the rest of the Delta flight?"

I voted yes, on the compensation. ;)

Just flew AF PNH-BKK-CDG and once the doors were closed in BKK, the purser made an announcement as two FAs walked up and down the aisles spraying insecticide the length of the 777 that French law required that the plane be sprayed with insecticide.
Do flights landing in OZ still get sprayed?

It shouldn't be that surprising. People are filthy and there are bugs everywhere, especially in hotels where many travelers stay before/after getting on a flight. Airplanes are cesspools; it's good for your immune system though!

I sat next to a Dog in Biz Class once on a flight on UA

and got bit by tons of flees! i had on shorts and had bites and bumps all over me. initially didn't connect it to the dog. it was around the time of the scares from SARs, asian bird flus, etc and when we landed they made me go to the airport doctor (who knew, but yes, there are clinics in airports).
the doctor looked and asked if i had a dog. i said not, but just sat next to one! mystery solved. ) :
