I'm back on an Asia assignment.
Anything new in the clubs in NRT?
And, very importantly, are the beer machines still there?

They were a few weeks ago when I was last through there! Hopefully no changes. (Though if someone could bring one back to the domestic SCs, I'd be a happy camper).

Ditto.
Was there Thanksgiving weekend, food as always, was awesome (compared to domestic SC).
FWIW, over in Nagoya, the lounge ladies were even taking a survey as to "what kind of foods would you want us to serve?" Of course this was not a SkyClub per se, Delta is just using it for their club.

Leave it to our friends in Japan,
My first experience in the NRT club was last January with my wife on the way to HKG. The beer machines caused me a bit of trouble. They were so fun to watch, somehow I over consumed a bit, slept all the way to HKG and had a bit of a headache after landing. I blamed it on the 23hrs of consecutive travel, however my wife knew different. I'd go back just to watch them pour.
The beer was perfect temp with a perfect head. I was taught early on by my parents not to waste.... so I did'nt.....

I've been trying to figure out how to get one of those machines imported into the US for years. They used to be Fijitsu machines and last time I checked they had switched to a Hoshizaki dispenser. In either case, they are hard to purchase in Japan to begin with, let alone export to the US.

I can report that the beer machines in the lounge DL uses at HND seemed to be fine very recently too.

It seems pretty easy to buy a Hoshizaki ice machine though
