Is that ex-GF aircraft? I believe where the aircraft came from. It was way back in late-90s.

Obviously, but a lot of the connecting traffic over AMS is headed to India, which is EK's bread and butter, especially to cities other than BOM and DEL.

For example, I flew SEA-AMS-BOM-HYD earlier this year. It was on DL, with a separate segment booked on Jet. If I could have had a one-stop on EK SEA-DXB-HYD, I may have taken that instead.

By randomly throwing in dates and routes? If so, lot of work...

Where did the SEA-NRT A333 go this summer?

I was looking at a CDG flight and noticed that MSP-CDG is now an A330-200 next summer and the DL metal JFK-CDG flight will be on a 767-400. That caused me to do some more searching around the schedule. Here is what I have found so far:

MSP-CDG A330-200
MSP-AMS A330-300, A330-200 and 767-300ER
JFK-CDG 767-400
ATL-LGW A330-200
JFK-LHR 2x 767-400 and 1x 767-300 with flatbeds
MIA-LHR 767-300 with flatbeds
LAX-NRT 777-200

Let me know if anyone sees anything else.
Thanks for the heads-up...went back and changed the first post to reflect latest changes. Other recent changes:

DTW-FRA now back to 764ER; was previously loaded 763ER

ATL-AMS will now have 3x daily (1 763ER, 1 A333, 1 A332) - that's more than ever, plus the KL-operated 777 service (for a total of 4x daily!)

Also lots of big schedule/time changes particularly at JFK (e.g., JFK-ZRH now will leave 430p instead of 1010p; JFK-CPH will now leave 500p instead of 1010p; JFK-VLC used to be at 430p but will now leave 950p, JFK-CDG will now leave 415p instead of 715p; JFK-AMS will now leave 840p instead of 400p, JFK-NCE will now leave 800p instead of 555p, etc.)

Flatbed 763ERs loaded so far for summer 2012 include:

DL106 JFK-FRA
DL140 JFK-BRU
DL 80 ATL-BRU
DL 26 JFK-ACC
DL134 ATL-ACC

With the above moves, FRA (ATL/DTW with 764; JFK with 76T), BRU, and ACC will become all flat-bed stations.

Don't forget that connecting from DL to IB at MAD involves a terminal change. By the time you allow for that (plus padding in case the DL flight is late, and transfer from SVQ to the city) it may be just as fast to take the train from Madrid to Seville (2:20 to 2:45 depending on the specific train).

Am I really the only flyertalker who prefers the 752s to 763s transatlantic?

Our summer 2012 trip to ARN switched to the 763s and I am bummed out! I really enjoyed that there are only 15 assignable seats instead of ~34 on the 763. For this traveler the smaller biz cabin is preferred. I can't be alone...

Thumbs up DL Metal/Lay Flat Seats (764) - JFK-CDG Next Summer

Hi Everyone,

No, I'm not asking if this route has lay flats or how I can book them...

I have a BUD-AMS-JFK-CDG-BUD trip booked for next June in Y (EC) on DL metal for the TATL flights.

Originally, the TATL portions were our much hated 763's...presumably un-refurbished ones.

MUCH to my surprise today, when checking my seats, I realized DL 184 JFK-CDG is a 764. In looking at the schedule, this flight is listed as a 767, and I know it can change to a 763...

Just something to keep in mind if you're flying JFK-CDG next summer! If you've already booked, you may want to check your seats!

That's good to know. Makes the thought of going to DXB via CDG much more palatable

still don't understand why JFK-BER can't support a flight

maybe DL doesn't want anyone to see a brand new airport, and compare it to the disaster that is JFK?
