Skymiles for AF codeshare?

I'm considering an itinerary that includes an Air France codeshare flight on tiny Luxair. My question is, will I earn skymiles on an Air France codeshare flight? Delta.com is a bit vague, as the Earn Travel Miles chart shows "Air France Marketed Flights." Anyone have any experience with this, or Luxair in particular?

You only get mileage credit for codeshares on skyteam metal. Read the remark on the top of the airline partner mileage earning charts on DL.com. There are some reports on FT from people who got miles for AF coded flights on non skyteam metal, but I would not bet on this and my experience is that you won't get it. However, I never took an AF coded Luxair operated flight. My experience is based on AF coded flights operated by OS where I (in my opinion rightly) did not got credit.

Has this changed at all?

I just took a flight that was AF coded but on 9W metal.

The current AF earnings page (http://www.delta.com/content/www/en_...ir-france.html) no longer says anything about it having to be on SkyTeam metal. The only thing I can see is that it excludes flights operated by SV.

AF, like all SkyTeam partners, has this note on the summary page which lists the airlines by group:

(2) SkyTeamŽ partner. Unless otherwise noted, mileage credit is only applicable to SkyTeam-marketed flights operated by a SkyTeam member airline. Mileage credit is not applicable to a SkyTeam-marketed flight operated by another airline.

My rule of thumb is the metal you are flying and the ticket stock must be ST.

There appears to be a contradiction between note 2 at the bottom of http://www.delta.com/content/www/en_.../airlines.html and the AF sub-page. Not sure when this page was last updated.
From experience -- I took the information on the page linked in message #3 -- (http://www.delta.com/content/www/en_...ir-france.html
I did have to request the credit for the Ukraine air flight.

9/6/13 -- Received credit for AF coded Ukraine Air International operated KBP-CDG. Booked in A, received base miles, 25% base mile class of service bonus, 50% MQM class bonus and 125% Diamond bonus. Ukraine Air is not a Skyteam member. Actual flight was 1902 miles. Earned 3170 (1268+1902) base miles and 1902 MQMs. I did have to request the credit for the Ukraine air flight.

12/19/13 -- Received credit for AF coded Tarom operated OTP-CDG. Booked in S, received base miles, 25% base mile class of service bonus, 50% MQM class bonus and 125% Diamond bonus. Actual flight was 1154 miles. Tarom is a ST member. Earned 2886 (1154+1732) base miles and 1731 MQM.

In 2012 I did not receive credit for a KL coded Baltic Air flight AMS-RIX. The KL page specifically lists the earning carriers and Baltic Air is not listed so I wasn't expecting to earn. http://www.delta.com/content/www/en_...-airlines.html

TBH, I just didn't even look at the summary page b/c I was specifically interested in AF. I don't think there's necessarily a conflict, just that it might have been nice to repeat the note on the individual partner pages, if it in fact does apply.

But it's interesting that you were able to request and receive credit for those flights. In my case, I don't think there actually is any ST partner that goes to my destination, which is why I was on that flight to begin with. I may give it a shot - it's worth 3k MQMs if it comes through.
