Kudos to Claudia, the Porsche driver and bon vivant at SEA; she turned a 43 minute connection MSP-SEA-HKG into a lasting memory for my wife and I last Tuesday 8/28.
We were on Flight 39 to HKG. It turned out that this was our 39th wedding anniversary celebration trip. Thank you, Claudia; thank you, Delta.

I’ve had two rides this year.
My my wife and i were on a tight international connection in ATL (T to E) and got picked up. The driver put us in the plane, and took our passports to the GA and brought them back to us.
i got picked up last week at LAX. Two hour connection between T2 and T3, so I had time but it was a nice experience.

I had 25 minutes and two terminals to switch between in Detroit last week and didn't get a pick up. I even asked Delta via Twitter. They did move the gate of my inbound plane from A1 to make it closer. I barely made it to the C gates.

Two rides for me this week through JFK, outbound Sunday / inbound Tuesday both around 7 or 8 am, reasonable but not leisurely connection. On the outbound the driver was a minute late, missed me at the gate but caught up as I was sitting on the jitney. Early morning slow travel days?

Yeah, I mean I guess it's conceivable esp if it was a slow period and/or a lot of people were connecting off the one flight to the other, but color me skeptical too. Seems more likely it was just a random gate shuffle that worked in his favor (of course from A1 pretty much any gate would be an improvement)

Yes, we were supposed to land at A1 but landed at a different gate. I had tweeted in-flight that I might miss my connection and asked for a Porsche transfer because my inbound flight left about 35 minutes late. I didn't get the transfer but the gate was changed.

Gate changes happen all the time, especially when your inbound is late. The implication they did it so you personally wouldn't have to walk as far is... not credible. The person you tweeted to had absolutely zero input in what gate was assigned to your flight.

Delta surprised and delighted me (the lovely Carols words today when she met me and offered me a ride to my connection gate in T4 at JFK today. This is my third ride, but today was nice since I had ample time to connect BUT it let me enjoy an excellent Bloody Mary in the SC. My phone was dead so I missed pictures of driving around several A380s and other cool planes. Carol said that her job is mostly escorting VIPs through the airport but does this when she has time. She quickly pointed out that they charge for the VIP service so as not to point out the fact that I am not a VIP. Nice job Delta

- Either send you a Porsche. Or,
- Try and move your inbound (or outbound - though rare) to gates close enough so that you can make the connection - Delta is serving more then 1 passenger here as there might be other folks trying to make the same connection

I had my first Porsche ride a couple weeks ago in MSP with less then 15 minutes of connect time. It helped there were two other DMs with the same connection. Happened to coincide with my million miler flight!
