Porsche pick up!

Got it today at JFK for a T2 to T4 transfer. What a great surprise!

On Wednesday 1/10/18 a lady and gentleman in the employ of Delta met me at Gate 49 and escorted me down the metal stairs of the jetway to the tarmac and opened the back seat door of a real nice Porsche for me to take me over to T2. Thank you Delta.

Got it last week when connecting at LAX - 2 nice gentlemen were waiting on the jetway and brought me from T3 to T2. It really did help with the hassle of walking all around to catch the shuttle and walk all around back to the center of the terminal.

As a PM? Very nice. ^ What was your fare class on each segment, if I may ask?

Got picked up today for the first time - I was on the red eye from SEA-JFK. They took myself and another gentleman who was also heading to DCA.

Very cool!

Received my first ride in a Porsche yesterday. Connecting in DTW to ESC. Was on personal business near Iron Mountain. Given the potential for bad weather in the UP, was not dressed in business attire, or smart casual. Work boots, jeans, fleece, baseball cap. The 30ish female professional sitting next to me in F seemed to be sizing up why I should be in first and her mannerisms made it appear that she was put out that a "blue collar" person was sitting next to her. The look on her face was priceless as I was escorted down the jetway stairs.

She was probably thinking " geez, why do I always have to sit next to the folks that don't shower". Since we are playing "what was my seat mate thinking".

Got my first ride today coming from PDX, connecting through SEA to AMS. They had two cars, one Macan and one Panamera 4S waiting for 3 of us getting on the AMS flight. They were boarding as we landed. I cleared for an upgrade to D1 using a GUC
on a B fare, I was 2 for 2 for the upgrade but it turned out to be 2 out of 4 after we boarded. Nice treat indeed.

Was it Amy? She's a sweetheart! She's given me a transfer twice in the last few months there.

It was a gentleman, he even asked if we wanted pictures, I was the only one who took him up on it, guess the others have done it before

how does this work if you have a long connection? do they drop you off and then pick you up from the club? thinking of sea where most domestic flights arrive near the club

I love the way people hide their faces in photos! What exactly is the point? Never understood this one! Be careful, someone might recognize you! So what!

At SEA, I've been in the Club a couple times where I've seen someone enter from the stairways leading up from the ramp, with the Porsches parked down below.

My second of the two transfers I received (both at LAX) was on a longer connection. I arrived at T2 and my connection went out of T3 approximately 2 hours later. I was shocked to see my name coming off the jetway but was escorted down to a Porsche and driven from our gate at T2 over to T3. I was dropped off at the area at T3 where you catch the buses to T2 and TBIT.

I would have declined it. My main goal is to stay out of T3rd World as much as possible and would much rather spend that time in the T2 SC than the T3 SkyCloset.
