Status Changes:
There have been a couple of questions regarding C+ when a member's status drops down after January 31. Typically, seats will hold unless there is an equipment change. If there's a change, the passenger(s) will most likely be seated in regular economy. There are reports of some success contacting @delta to get reseated in C+.

Comfort+ FAQ - LINK
Offering:
- C+ is a complimentary upgrade (space available) for DM and PM after booking. GM can access for free at T-72 and FO at T-24. (There is no longer a discount for GM/FO.)
- Sky Priority boarding
- Extra legroom and, on international a/c, extra recline
- Free wine, spirits and regional craft beers, plus premium snacks
Complimentary premium entertainment from Delta Studio™(No longer relevant as of July 1st; Entertainment now complimentary in Y)- On JFK-LAX/SFO flights, a Luvo® sandwich wrap and frozen Greek yogurt bar, pillow, blanket, and sleep kit are included
A few general notes regarding DL C+:
- On international a/c, the bulkhead seats often have a significant amount leg room (other than the 764).
- The bulkhead and exit row seats are often narrower as the tray table and/or IFE unit are in the arm rests. The arm rests do not move which, coupled with a smaller seat, can be uncomfortable for larger pax.
- The first row of regular economy seating after EC IS NOT recommended. The last row of EC has the EC recline and members have reported that there's no extra space between this row and the first row of regular Y.
- Selecting C+ Seats - You cannot select or purchase C+ seats until after booking is completed on revenue or award tickets. The UG has to clear as well.
Internationally Configured Aircraft
Per DL, International/transoceanic C+ offers 35" pitch and 6" recline. (LINK)
747-400 / 744 / 74S:
- dl.com seat map: 747-400
Rows 22-26 - 42 total C+ seats. - Legroom:
Row 22 ABC/HJK and 24 DEFG are the bulkhead seats. 22C/H are noted as having unlimited legroom and some have noted that people can congregate due to the proximity of the lavatories, which are located directly in front of the first row of C+ on the 744. 22ABC have recently received poor reviews because of the lav and galley - people tend to congregate in this area and it can become stinky. Comments on 22K indicate that pax can access the aisle without disturbing other passengers. Also, the lavatory near 22HJK is blocked for BusinessElite pax, so there tends to be fewer disturbances and become less smelly over the course of a long flight. Also, seats 22B and 22J can be used for bassinets.
Some might prefer the legroom of row 35/51 on the 744 with less recline and tray in armrest. - Related Threads and Posts:

The C+/Economy seats on a/c has winged headrests. - Legroom:
Row 29/31 seats are the bulkhead seats and have plenty of leg room. Rows 30-32/32-34 are standard C+ seats with USB and plug power. Row 44 (exit row) has excellent legroom, but no power outlets. The window seat sin this row are narrower because the tray table is in the armrest does not move up. The recline is standard recline.

The bulkhead seats do not have moveable arm rests and the tray table/IFE monitor are in the arm rests. In my experience, I felt like the A332/333 and 763's had better recline in EC than the 764. - IFE:

Re 767 300ER
Went to book my flight JFK to VCE, 2 months out, and found NO EC seats available. I was very surprised and totally unprepared to pick a seat in regular economy. Are any of the economy comfort seats held out for booking at check in? I'm not a preferred passenger and can not book any of the 'preferred' seats - which I don't think have anything to recommend them other than being further toward the front of the plane. Are there ANY seats that offer something above the standard economy seat in the standard economy section? There are no exit rows and no bulkheads apparent on the seating charts. Right now, the first side aisle seat is row 31.
Thanks for any advice. Last time I took this flight, EC did not exist. I was really looking forward to being a bit more comfortable this time around.

re 767-300ER JFK to VCE - Thanks rwoman
This may sound crazy but I am actually considering pushing my trip out 2 weeks just to get more comfortable seating on this flight. On that flight, leaving October 5th instead of September 21st, 17 CD&E are available. Those are the center bulkhead seats. I understand there is a decent amount of leg room there. Would those be the best choice seats, when the other options are 18 D,E; 19 C,D,E,F,G; 20 F,G? Row 20 is an exit row, but so is the already reserved row 21, and Seatguru says seats in Row 20 have limited recline.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Flying the 752 from SFO-HNL. This must be the AVOD equipped aircraft. Currently have 18DE reserved both ways. It is the bulkhead exit and not currently highlighted as EC. A couple of questions. Is the lavatory and galley on this configuration that are just ahead of the seats for the Business Class cabin- or will this possibly be an area where coach passengers may congregate as they are awaiting use of the lavs? At this point I would be able to switch to EC in row 20, 21, or 22. It is interesting that only the ABC seats are listed as EC. Does this mean that the seats across the aisle (DEF) do not offer the extra recline?

If the flight was long enough to watch 2 movies, that could be of some value. Obviously you get legroom and low priority boarding, but I believe you can buy low priority boarding and "preferred" seats a la carte for far less than $70. Why would the value of EC be higher on longer flights if there are no additional in-flight benefits?

I've been on many flights booked just a few days out where only middle seats are left, and when I get to T-24 there are no "preferred" seats to buy into (plus the EC starts going as FOs claim them).

With all but middle EC seats taken on flights I book two weeks out, it seems DL's deal to merchandise ancillary products and services through travel agency channels is having an effect.
Positive for DL.

attention rwoman and anyone else familiar with 767-400 EC
Well - I'm booked. Can't get EC yet on my outbound 767-300 JFK-VCE flight. Booked an EC seat for my return on 767-400 MXE-JFK. Almost all EC seats were available on this flight, including the bulkhead seats. Seat Guru says these are good seats; Seatexpert says not so good, rwoman says legroom doesn't match that of some other planes. Right now I chose 17E - center section on the aisle. My reasons - don't want row 18, where I would be reclining into the lap of a non EC passenger; thought it might be better to be a few rows back of the lavatories, and I was hoping that maybe the middle seat passenger would be part of a couple and would be more likely to exit over the spouse. I know I am over thinking this, but would love to have a definitive recommendation of what is best here since pretty much every EC seat is available. If bulkhead, is there plenty of leg room to fully stretch the legs of a short person, can you exit the row without making a seat partner get up, which seat is best, and is the bathroom an issue? If not bulkhead, would I be better with aisle of a 2 seat row, or aisle of a 3 seat row?
Also, rwoman mentioned tracking the seating on the Delta app. I plead smartphone ignorance, but my daughter will download the app. How do I track the EC seating on the outbound flight as I wait for someone to cancel their seat or get comped into Business?

I tried the seat but there is less legroom due to the bulkhead wall. (I tried all four rows to share on FT) The other EC seats you can extend your feet under the seat in front of you. You also lose the under-seat storage in front of you.

On the DL App, you can look at your assigned seat and open seats - if a better seat opens up, you should be able to select it.

Looking for info on the PTV equipped 757-200. It lists EC as only on the ABC seats? Is this really the case? Would 18DE not have extra recline? Also is the Galley and lavatory which is just before rows 18 and 19 for the Business cabin or the Economy cabin?

If the seat map shows the one side, yes, that is the only EC. IIRC, that lavatory is for Y pax.

Thanks for the information on the PTV 757-200. I think I will switch over to the EC seats on the ABC side a few seats back as row 18 would not have the extra recline and could potentially be near those in line for the lavatory.
