Status Changes:
There have been a couple of questions regarding C+ when a member's status drops down after January 31. Typically, seats will hold unless there is an equipment change. If there's a change, the passenger(s) will most likely be seated in regular economy. There are reports of some success contacting @delta to get reseated in C+.

Delta - Comfort+

Comfort+ FAQ - LINK
Offering:
- C+ is a complimentary upgrade (space available) for DM and PM after booking. GM can access for free at T-72 and FO at T-24. (There is no longer a discount for GM/FO.)
- Sky Priority boarding
- Extra legroom and, on international a/c, extra recline
- Free wine, spirits and regional craft beers, plus premium snacks
Complimentary premium entertainment from Delta Studio™(No longer relevant as of July 1st; Entertainment now complimentary in Y)- On JFK-LAX/SFO flights, a Luvo® sandwich wrap and frozen Greek yogurt bar, pillow, blanket, and sleep kit are included
A few general notes regarding DL C+:
- On international a/c, the bulkhead seats often have a significant amount leg room (other than the 764).
- The bulkhead and exit row seats are often narrower as the tray table and/or IFE unit are in the arm rests. The arm rests do not move which, coupled with a smaller seat, can be uncomfortable for larger pax.
- The first row of regular economy seating after EC IS NOT recommended. The last row of EC has the EC recline and members have reported that there's no extra space between this row and the first row of regular Y.
- Selecting C+ Seats - You cannot select or purchase C+ seats until after booking is completed on revenue or award tickets. The UG has to clear as well.
Internationally Configured Aircraft
Per DL, International/transoceanic C+ offers 35" pitch and 6" recline. (LINK)
747-400 / 744 / 74S:
- dl.com seat map: 747-400
Rows 22-26 - 42 total C+ seats. - Legroom:
Row 22 ABC/HJK and 24 DEFG are the bulkhead seats. 22C/H are noted as having unlimited legroom and some have noted that people can congregate due to the proximity of the lavatories, which are located directly in front of the first row of C+ on the 744. 22ABC have recently received poor reviews because of the lav and galley - people tend to congregate in this area and it can become stinky. Comments on 22K indicate that pax can access the aisle without disturbing other passengers. Also, the lavatory near 22HJK is blocked for BusinessElite pax, so there tends to be fewer disturbances and become less smelly over the course of a long flight. Also, seats 22B and 22J can be used for bassinets.
Some might prefer the legroom of row 35/51 on the 744 with less recline and tray in armrest. - Related Threads and Posts:

The C+/Economy seats on a/c has winged headrests. - Legroom:
Row 29/31 seats are the bulkhead seats and have plenty of leg room. Rows 30-32/32-34 are standard C+ seats with USB and plug power. Row 44 (exit row) has excellent legroom, but no power outlets. The window seat sin this row are narrower because the tray table is in the armrest does not move up. The recline is standard recline.

On the 764, the bulkhead seats (row 15) have less leg room than the 763's; there's probably about 2' or so between the edge of the seat and the wall. The bulkhead seats do not have moveable arm rests and the tray table/IFE monitor are in the arm rests. In my experience, I felt like the A332/333 and 763's had better recline in EC than the 764. - IFE:

Do you mean 17C on the 76T (which is now the designator for the 76W)? Or do you mean the 76L, which has a row 16 but only CDE seats? In any case, 17B is likely to get you more legroom, and you only have one seatmate and one person to share the overhead bin with.

Row 16 only has CDE and appears to be a bulkhead whereas 17 is the first "full" row, though AB and FG have nothing in front of them
The only thing holding me back from 17B is that 17A is already taken whereas 16CDE are all available. I know that's a crapshoot, but still indicates something about potential full row (or does C+ generally go out full on TATL flights?)

I would never count on those being empty. They might seem empty now, but that's because GMs and FOs don't get discounts anymore, so they might not be as tempting as they once were. You can count on higher elites getting them complimentary, and other passengers outright buying them. I'm not sure why DL lists it as a 76W, because that designation isn't even on their fleet list anymore (on the website, at least). It sounds like the 76L, which has the layout you describe. They'll all have the typical bulkhead seat with immovable armrests and small tray tables. It has always seemed to me that the AB/FG seats got more legroom than the center seats, at the bulkhead. And you are guaranteed to only have one seatmate in 17B.
And chose 17F (somehow that opened up while 17B was taken). Thanks!

Hello. Looking to book a flight in C+ on a Boeing 737-800 from SJU. I was going to book row 10 but the then seatguru seems to think row 10 will have less leg room - advice if I should go for row 10, 11 or 12?
Are the seats bigger? Or should I just go for a regular exit row seat?

The exit row seats have more leg room in her opinion, although they are harder than standard economy (or C+) seats.

10C/D may be okay, since the bulkhead wall isn't quite as wide as the three seats on each side of the aircraft, so you could essentially extend your legs out and slightly angled into the aisle. AB/EF don't get this privilege, and I can't remember if there is any kind of cut out or extra space to extend your feet a bit.

I'm was looking at LAX to MCO. the DL site shows 737-800. I would have normally selected row 10 but from this thread and others this isn't peoples favorite. I normally like it because there is no one reclining in. In any respect I couldnt get 3 seats together in row 10.
What I wanted to know was I saw that some versions of the 737-800 seem to have overhead video and some personal video . Is there any way to know if this flight has personal video?
Also does anyone know if if you select Comfort + does that change the booking class from what is shown on the dl site when you select the economy fare in the first place?

If you look through the first two or three pages of this forum, you'll find a thread about the 737 mods. The 737-800s at going through a refurbishment, but slowly. The non-AVOD aircraft will get it, and the hard bulkhead will be replaced with a curtain. However, there is really no way to know, as any 738 can be swapped for another. Some have reported overhead monitors, only to get AVOD, and vice versa. One reason you may not have been able to get those three seats is becuse row 10 is blocked for assignment to disabled passengers, and opens up at 24 hour checkin. But row 11 and 12 are going to give you decent legroom. Remember, Y seats only recline laterally like an inch (at least if feels link that, haha). I don't know if anyone has measured the angle of recline, but it's probably only like 15 degrees. Anyway, don't worry about not getting row 10. 11 and 12 will have moveable armrests, so that will enhance your feeling of space as well.
thanks.

Legroom is great, no IFE box, seatback IFE worked although the touch-sensitive spots were misaligned to the icons, took a couple minutes for both me and the person next to me to figure that out.
But ... the seat itself was terrible. The cushion was not only hard - I expected that, I read that it's an FAA rule about the seat withstanding people stomping on it in a exit emergency - it was very narrow, like I felt I was partly hanging off the left edge for 3 hours. I am generally a window fanatic, but would most likely avoid 18A/F in the future. (I do like the exit window seats on the MD90, so I think it can be done better).
If I did opt for 18A or F again, I'd want to have a small pillow or a coat to stuff in the surprisingly large gap between the narrow cushion and the sidewall. I tried a rolled up red DL blanket but that fell right down the gap.
So, IMO, caution on 17 and 18 A/F seats.

1. So I just booked JFK-LAX in November...a 767 row 14 C,D,E, for my family. The website showed it as preferred seating (not Economy+) and I did not have to pay being a Gold. Are you saying this is a glitch and we are really in C+ seats with all the benefits and extra room?
2. Our other leg on LAX-JFK is on a 757. Are the AVOD systems on the 757 the same ones as the new large ones on the 767? Or are they still the old 4-5 inch terrible ones from years and years ago?

A plane I was recently on showed C+ as 3 rows on Delta's chart, but 5 or 6 rows in the plane had the C+ seat covers.
