No More Shenanigans! New Upgrade Transparency from Delta. Humor.
 

Fellow FlyerTalkers:

After spending countless hours communicating with the top brass at Delta, I have spent the last few days providing support to Delta IT as they finished creating a new seat map designed to provide total transparency. This new "Best in Class" seat map makes use of easy to remember icons, and in doing so lets everyone see who got upgraded and who didn't for each and every Delta flight.

I wasn't supposed to leak the Beta version of this map, but I love my FT friends so much, I just couldn't contain myself. Enjoy!!!!

checked in for a 75X flight yesterday, and the kiosk failed.. the agent said "oh, you got the upgrade", and handed me a BP for 7D. had to laugh. i asked the GA for something farther forward and got back "you don't like bulkhead windows, do you?" another chuckle....

Y wouldn't have been bad, tho -- went out with 4 empty in F, and ~100 empty in Y. that's about what it takes as a gold lately.....

on the outbound, they called zone 1 after F finished boarding, and i was about 10th in line. every boarding pass scanned in that group drew the fast beeps of the exit row. i call SHENA on the pair of deltalinas in row 14!

oh, and a shout out to BSBG, who shared the exit row with me on the CRJ2 on the connecting leg home yesterday. nice to see those HOOU coupons put to good use!
