Reserved coach...itinerary says FC on a "P" fare

This hasn't happened to me before. Used my company website (AmEx Travel)to book a multi-city itinerary. All four legs showed "Coach" and I completed the res. When the final itinerary came up it shows me in F on the first two legs on a "P" fare. Last two legs show a "T" fare. Whenever I'm upgraded it shows "V", so I'm wondering what happened here. I know I'll have to explain it to my boss...

That's not surprising. A P fare is a coach fare with an instant upgrade to first class. Check on your ticket for your fare basis code.

Yup, the cheapest fare was probably an x-UP to the P inventory bucket, so thats what it put you into. As mentioned, check your fare basis in the ticket info... it may be something like QUPxxxxx.
