Problems in MEM?
 

Checked in at BHM this morning headed to ORD, scheduled to go via MEM and arrived to find itinerary rerouted through ATL. Originally scheduled on small regional jets all the way, so only F from MEM-ORD, but now nothing but an aisle seat and a spot on the upgrade list as all other DMs have already been upgraded on these legs and only 1 seat showing available in F for both flights. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather arrive on time than get upgraded because I am on a tight schedule today but geez! Come on DL, some advance notice would be nice!

Anybody have any idea why MEM flights are rerouting this morning. GA says a "problem in MEM" that they're trying to avoid by rerouting pax as early in the day as possible.

Some storms later in the day, but nothing has been cancelled yet. Interesting that they're already rerouting you.

Considering BHM-MEM arrived early along with MEM-ORD, that is quite strange.

Maybe the gate agent is trying to ruin the loads to Memphis for a way to show that MEM needs to be de-hubbed :(
