3x MR Points for DL Transfer Transaction
 
Already posted in the Amex Forum...

Question for the delegation:

I'm thinking about transferring some orphan miles from one Delta account to another, my question is does the Amex Premier Rewards Gold card receive 3x points for this transaction (i.e. count as airfare) or just 1x points?

If only 1x points I will be using a different credit card to pay the associated fee.
$0.01/mile transferred + $30/transaction

Anyone use a Amex Premier Rewards Card to do a transaction on Delta? Did it net 3x points if it wasn't buying an airline ticket? Do transfers, mile purchases, gift cards count toward 3x Membership Rewards Points?
