184 N184DN…will retire by end of 2024 as a 76Zv1. ViaSat IFC.
*Note: This version has 13-14CDE as preferred seats, not C+. This configuration does not have doors near the engines (like the 764 does) and does have 2 over-wing exits (like the 76L/76T). There are lavatories near the over-wing exits (20-21CDE do not exist).

1521 N394DL…reactivated Aug 3 2021. Not expected to receive ViaSat IFC. will retire by end of 2024 as a 76Zv2.
*Note: This version has doors near the engines (like the 764) and only has one over-wing exit. There are lavatories near the 2nd set of doors (13-14CDE do not exist). Unlike all other 767 versions Delta has, there isn't a lavatory set near the over-wing exits (because they are near the 2nd set of doors).
**All retired 9/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications

*Note: For flights needing a crew rest (most flights to Europe, and anything to Africa/South America/Asia), a seat (usually 7A) is blocked off for crew rest.
**All retired 9/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications, but all have been reactivated.

76T: C36W29Y143: 777 Y seats/OLD AVOD/SAT-WIFI
All 76Ts were sold to Amazon in 2020.

N1609
N1610D
N1611B
N1612T

*Note: This configuration is used inclusive on SEA-PVG, ATL-LOS. It also frequently works SEA-ATL to provide rotation. These aircraft do cover flights to Europe All 36J seats will be sold because it has a crew rest module installed. Also, the Y seats are the older ones like the 777 with the older IFE system (only 767-300ER type with that, all others are the newer seats/system).
**All retired 6/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications

What DL is believed to do is put all flights with 26J as the 76Z Version 2 configuration and then change it to 76Z Version 1 closer to departure as needed. If you select 20-21CDE when it is 76Z Version 2 and it changes to 76Z Version 1, it should seat you in 13-14CDE considering that 20-21CDE doesn't exist on the configuration it changed to. All other seats are numbered the same regardless of Version 1 or 2, although there may be minor differences such as row 20 being an exit row on Version 1.

Sept 25 2020 Announcement: Delta to retire 717, 767-300ER and CRJ-200

Hope this is reliable indicator.

Seems the seatmap just changed to the 1-2-1 config on my flight for tomorrow -- 244 - MSP-> AMS on 22-Oct.

If the seatmap's close to correct - BE cabin is only about 1/3 full.

Congrats Brad! Looks like you have ship 1608 for your flight tonight, the first 767-300 to be fitted with the new cabin interior and flat beds. Will you be in BE, Economy Comfort or Standard Coach? Report back your thoughts

I just wanted to let everyone know my seatmap just changed. 10/25 ATL to MAN now shows the 1-2-1 J cabin ... and I am flying in J, so I am real excited to check it out.

Can anyone point me to a website with a lot of photos of the new J cabin, I am curious to take a peek today before flying tomorrow.

Thanks
Mike

Translating equip numbers to flights

FT newbie here

Any way to take the tail numbers and use that to plan a flight in late December this year? Not sure how folks translate the tail numbers into routes and whether that has predictability 2 months out.

Interested in JFK - ATH and JFK - IST routes

I'm no DL insider, but my instinct tells me no way to plan like that.

i mean, one of the new 763er's had been crossing the Pacific, but now all three of the 76's seem to be crossing the Atlantic and or going to S Amer.

All 763ERs will get the new interior by 2013, including flat beds, AVOD, and Heath Tecna NuLook Pivot Bin Interiors (basically an aftermarket Boeing Signature Interior clone).

The non-ER domestic 763s already have AVOD in both domestic F and Y, however, there are no plans to update the bins on them. However, since you are flying an international route, you won't be getting one of these aircraft.
