*Note: This version has 13-14CDE as preferred seats, not C+. This configuration does not have doors near the engines (like the 764 does) and does have 2 over-wing exits (like the 76L/76T). There are lavatories near the over-wing exits (20-21CDE do not exist).

1521 N394DL…reactivated Aug 3 2021. Not expected to receive ViaSat IFC. will retire by end of 2024 as a 76Zv2.
*Note: This version has doors near the engines (like the 764) and only has one over-wing exit. There are lavatories near the 2nd set of doors (13-14CDE do not exist). Unlike all other 767 versions Delta has, there isn't a lavatory set near the over-wing exits (because they are near the 2nd set of doors).

*Note: This configuration is used inclusive on SEA-PVG, ATL-LOS. It also frequently works SEA-ATL to provide rotation. These aircraft do cover flights to Europe All 36J seats will be sold because it has a crew rest module installed. Also, the Y seats are the older ones like the 777 with the older IFE system (only 767-300ER type with that, all others are the newer seats/system).
**All retired 6/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications

What DL is believed to do is put all flights with 26J as the 76Z Version 2 configuration and then change it to 76Z Version 1 closer to departure as needed. If you select 20-21CDE when it is 76Z Version 2 and it changes to 76Z Version 1, it should seat you in 13-14CDE considering that 20-21CDE doesn't exist on the configuration it changed to. All other seats are numbered the same regardless of Version 1 or 2, although there may be minor differences such as row 20 being an exit row on Version 1.

So since 174 was at CAN for roughly 2 months, I'm thinking we can expect 172 and 175 to be completed in mid-March (since they arrived in mid-January) and 179 to be completed in April, if I had to guess.

Is 171 going to be converted to a 76Z? It appears to be the only 76L that hasn't yet.

I'm flying on a 76K later this month - where are the detailed seat maps/links which show seats with limited recline/obstructed exit row, etc? Currently don't see any online.

N169DZ and N171DZ (both GE equipped a/c) are the only other N....DZ frames that have not been up-gauged with PS (K layout) seating. N1603, N1605, and N16065 (GE equipped a/c) are the newest 763ER's that are probably going to have the K layout PS seats installed. The remaining 763ER's are PW equipped with the exception of N394DL ("Z2" layout, and the oldest frame) will probably not follow the "conversion-ing" process.

1707 to continue on to CAN on 3/16 (local time) https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/n177dz
175 to exit CAN the same day. We'll see if it was modded to 76Z or just a mx visit. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/n175dn

I think the remaining of the GE ships except for 1521 will become 76Ks. The PW ships and 1521 will stay as 76Zs (76Ls will become 76Zs).

175 is doing an ATL-MCO-ATL turn today and based on the seat maps for those flights, it's still a 76L.

Interesting. So maybe they will leave a few as 76Ls. I was curious about 171 because it appeared to be the only 76Z that hadn't been ferried to CAN.

Sorry. That's what I meant to say. It seemed to be the only 76L that hadn't gone to CAN (and I was assuming it was the only 76L left). But now that 175 is out but appears to still be a 76L, I wonder if they'll stay as 76Ls (which would make them a bit unique in that sense).

As as they will be utilized on domestic routes, there's a lot better chance of an upgrade to FC with 36 seats vs 26 in the 76K/76Z.

189 is headed to ICN and presumably on to CAN on Saturday:
https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N189DN

This is probably just for maintenance, but it's worth keeping an eye on.
