So AMEX is running a promo that with each over $100.00 purchase on Delta you get 5,000 membership rewards. So I was thinking of buying 4,000 air miles which have a 100% bonus now for $140.00.

So is $140.00 dollars worth 8000 delta air miles plus 5,000 MR's?

The promo says you need to purchase a flight. I doubt a points purchase qualifies -- "This bonus points offer is only available with a minimum purchase of $100 for qualifying flights."

Lots of views but no responses. This is because you have a very unhelpful thread title.

And also because the answer to "Is it worth it" is almost always "Maybe for you, maybe not for others".

Sorry - I am just trying to be helpful not mean - pelase could we change the thread title?
