I have sent DM to @delta twice during IROPS and never got a reply... what am I doing wrong? How do I ensure they are following me?

Are you tweeting @Delta or @DeltaAssist? Make sure it's @DeltaAssist

Some people have said that they have asked @DeltaAssist to follow them just in case something comes up on a trip. If they are not following you and you find yourself needing them, simply send a public tweet to @DeltaAssist with a general message (something along the lines of "flight canceled, need help booking an alternate, follow for DM")

Also make sure that your Twitter is public and not private. Private tweets, even those with @DeltaAssist, won't be seen by them unless they are already following you.

I just created an account and did my first tweet with the text below.

@Deltaassist please follow me I heard good things about you

Within minutes they replied telling me they are following me and to send a DM when I need their assistance. I can see they are following me.

Now If I could only get the FAs to get me a Woodford with that speed and efficiency I would be set.

If you want even faster service, I suggest using "#DYKWIA" at the end of each tweet.
