Delta is offering me a one way DCA/DTW upgrade for $369.80 next sunday LOL. Do people really pay these prices? The first class cabin is almost empty and it's the day before MLK day, I can't imagine many business travellers flying that day

$203 each way for JFK-DFW on a Skywest ERJ175 outbound and Endeavour CRJ9 return. It's a near 4 hour flight but i'm unsure if its worth it.

I just received another first-class buy-up offer. This time it was $95.68 -- not $95, but $95.68 as apparently the extra 68 cents really matters -- for Detroit to Memphis on a CRJ-700.

That suggests to me that Delta is using a computer to generate pricing both up and down. If somebody can hack the code a single person may be able to predict future changes for their benefit

I have been offered a price that is worse than buying the first-class ticket to upgrade on about 5 of the last SEA <--> JFK flights.

I misread this, but paid F was $662. I paid $266 for main cabin in V class.

The C+ buy up is $49 each way.

The more Medallions take DL up on these offers, the more DL laughs on the way to the bank.

How dare a company try to increase their revenue stream. Actually, I've often been quite happy with the FCM offers I've taken. Some, however, are ridiculous and I doubt anyone would take them.

I do wonder if they've changed premium pricing strategy in the last week? I bought a K/M MSN<>MSY. Used an expiring RUC on the Thursday night return (meal on MSY>DTY leg, popular time, etc.). My K/M fare was $740. The current FCM offer for the oubound of MSN>ATL>MSY is a whopping $1126, which is $81 more than the entire RT F fare is pricing out at now ($1047). Really odd. My only other data point is that I bought a Delta One fare SEA>JFK for $448 (2/9) and my friend went to buy it today and it's pricing out at $1658 and it was < 48 hours after I bought mine and seat map looks same. C vs Z on that route is a big hike!
