Spinz me wrote in a fit of pique >>>>>>>>>>>>>You might be a Kettle with Medallion Status if for next Sunday afternoon's MCI-DTW flight there are 5 V seats available today and you didn't get one...

Whoo hoo. They released one more V seat today, 3 days out, and I got it. ^

Say it loud: I'm Plat and I'm proud.

[But - - who are we kidding - - how kettle of me to complain on FlyerTalk about not getting upgraded at the sweep. ]

Why the hangup on people's clothes? You're on mass transit, not going to a fancy dinner. People should be able to stay comfortable.

They are jealous of us kettle elites. That is what this whole thread is about. (They have to wear uniforms and do corporate robotics on the laptop the entire flight). GO KETTLE!!!

I resent all 4 of those comments
I love the 2 seats on MD-xx's and other planes.

+1 on behalf of my senior aged mother, who (a) is fearful of flying, and (b) has a single adult daughter who flies all the time.

Color me happy--I get to have conversations that consist of "Hi Mom, we just landed...I love you too."

Not sure whether this was a Kettle with Medallion status or a DYKWIA - but whomever left the wad of gum on the top of the armrest of seat 7d on the 777 yesterday (ewww, seriously?) clearly doesn't "belong" in First Class...

Nope. Here it is. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/e...0/DL_KMhat.jpg

And I will have it live in the ATL area today for the FT Meet up tonight. I'll be at the Heritage Museum at 1P, then the Hilton at 3ish. I'll also have my other hat as well: http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/e...0/DSCN0480.jpg
