Question about Requesting Upgrades?
 
I have booked a flight before I got Silver Medallion. Will I automatically get put on the upgrade wait-list at T-1 (or 2, i forgot), or do I have to call and request. I really hope someone could answer this. Also, I have a companion on the same flight but different PNR, do I also have to call and request an upgrade for her too?

You can request the upgrade any time prior to your flight.

Check your itinerary online. It should tell you whether you have requested an upgrade or not. Your companion needs to be a skymiles member in order to be put on the upgrade list.



Call DL and have them link your PNRs.

Thanks. I will do that b/c the flights do not say the upgrade status. *its not like I have much of a chance anyway as a silver though.
