RPU issues?
 
I booked a few of the MIA / BOS - LHR biz class fares for miles, and I was wondering if I added in some additional round trips inside the existing itinerary if this would be a volition of SkyMiles rules. I'd like to do a few of them because of the 50k bonus for UK; but I don't want to spend all that time and have it be for nothing!

Sorry. What 50K bonus are you referring to?

What you're asking for in your OP is what's called nested ticketing. Generally speaking the airlines allow this and you won't have problems. Do it too many times and you might get a call - or worse your SM account get locked out. But generally you can do this two or three times and you won't have an issue.

There's a promo of 25K each way RDM for flights LHR-US. However, you have to have a UK address in your SkyMiles account to qualify and fly by 30 April.
