Fare Class E?

Ok, so we know that the new "P Class" is a different kind of first class ticket... but what is the deal with the "bottom level" coach fare class of "E"?

Thanks!

I asked a DM desk agent and she said that it was for a consolidator fare.

Weird, cause you can search for it on the website and I thought it was saved for the "institutional buyers".

DOH! Beat me to it...!

I have another theory...

E was the only vowel missing from the fares.

A = First
I = Discounted BE
O = BE points award
U = Economy
(sometimes) Y = Economy
