Question on getting bumped
 
I booked a flight for 2 and used the American Express $99 Companion Certificate for one fare. If a flight is oversold will we both be able to sign up to get bumped? Both fare classes are "U"

How you got a ticket to be on that plane has zero bearing on whether you can be bumped or not. Award ticket pax are just as eligible to be bumped as those who paid $1,200 to fly in coach. Companions are no different.
