Has Delta just increased their Delta One redemption rates to Europe??

I'm currently looking to book a trip to Europe for September next year. Last week I was seeing one way 70k availability to places such as London, Prague or Paris. Today I look and everything is 85k one way??

85k is the partner rate. Probably VS/AF/KL flights?

DL Saver availability (70k) seems to have tanked. A decent amount of space at CSL levels for 86k.

The blogs are already all over it, but I'm not so sure; like javabytes, it appears that Saver space has vanished (ie this might be an IT issue -- or "issue") rather than 86k being the new "saver". Using ExpertFlyer I can't find a single saver-level award for pretty much any route on any day -- including things like shoulder season BOS-CDG or JFK-LHR where there's usually a decent bit of space if you've got just a bit of flexibility.

Going over 70k is insane. 70k is already insane. I transfer Amex points to Aeroplan and get LH F for 70k TATAL.

Any word @SkyMilesTeam?

Partner awards to South Asia also seem to have increased from 97.5k to an obscene 120k.

Came here to say this, saw a 70k flight this morning and few minutes later I couldn't find anything under 85k. I just made it to 140k points and was going to redeem...

The two flights offered at 86k points were 70k this morning. I also can't find any delta flights for less than 86k, but still partner flights for 85k...

Thumbs down

What they are doing is essentially making sure nobody can afford to redeem miles for international business class.

Think about it....think about how easy it was to earn miles 2 years ago. Those same flights are now earning like 1/10th of the RDMs.

So, once people burn all of the accumulated miles it is literally going to be almost impossible to redeem miles for international business class--which doesn't make any sense as they RARELY fill a business class cabin 100% on international flights.

I switched my Mileage Running game to AA last year and have had some pretty good times with their partners and international first class redemptions and first class lounges.

Two thumbs down for DL.

There's clearly something going on over in Asia, with the partner awards up at 120k one-way. But DL has previously signaled that it intends to price partner awards higher than its own awards, which is why if partner awards are still 85k and DL's 86k awards have the CSL fare basis code, this sounds like an availability issue rather than a fare increase.

Or - scary thought - perhaps it's a temporary zeroing out of saver-level inventory on DL metal until they get a chance to re-file fares and raise both DL and partner pricing.

It's from the fare codes used for pricing award tickets. Click on the "Fare Rules" link when pulling up an award. CSL has been used as the prefix for second level 87.5K TATL D1 awards. Here are the TATL award levels I compiled from earlier this year. The question is whether or not there is still a CSM level or not and if the pricing is still 70K (CSM700). Also not currently finding YSM300's for TATL coach, just YSL400's and partner YSM350's at 35K.

TATL Coach
YSM300 30K
YSL400 40K
YSD500 50K
YSS625 62.5K
YSK750 75K

TATL D1
CSM700 70K
CSL875 87.5K
CSD1100 110K
CSS1375 137.5K
CSK1750 175K
CSKP2250 225K

Well so much for a DL Gold Amex offer of 50k to 75k miles.
