HND lounge info
Straight from an email I received from Delta's Product Manager for Customer Lounges:
"We are partnering with the Tiat Lounge in Haneda to provide Lounge access for our BusinessElite customers, as well as our SkyTeam Elite Plus customers, when traveling on a same-day international flight operated by a SkyTeam partner."
I'll be in HND in a couple weeks and will be sure to update the thread on my experience in this new partner lounge.

I have been admitted twice this year to the TIAT lounge at HND. First time by coupon from check-in counter. Today I arrived before check-in was open & used kiosk. The TIAT lounge receptionist filled out a coupon for me but then asked if I was flying bus class, even though I provided my current Delta Diamond Elite card. So beware, it could be inconsistent as to what credentials are accepted - ticket class or elite status. I find this at Korean Air lounges frequently, too.

IME at some stations, a business class boarding pass gets you into the lounge OR you can show a lounge invitation which the check in counter gives to elites not traveling in business class. It can be too complicated for the dragons in a contract lounge to know which status is required for lounge admission on all partner FF cards for all airlines the lounge serves.

I'm about to do a week in Tokyo/Kyoto for Spring Break with wife and daughter. This will be my last chance to use a "third party" lounge at a Skyteam ElitePlus in Y (well, on a cheap Economy award ticket), before the early-morning HND-SEA flight. Is this lounge worth getting to the airport a little early? Any other recent "uniquenesses" about the SEA-HND-SEA routes? The planes seem way empty, anyway...

The new TIAT lounge is amazing and quite spacious. It's in the expanded international terminal area. I also find it unfortunate that Delta is scaling back its use for economy medallions.
