What is a "P-Fare" ?
Please excuse my ignorance in advance.
New FF here and recently I had to change a booking and the agent told me the price. She said this was a "P" fair and if there were open seats I would be in F. She reserved a F seat for me. Can someone please explain how a P fair works? Was the reason I got the P fair because there were no lower fair seats available? The trip is MSP-SLC on a Friday evening so maybe it was full? Thank you |
See this chart for fare class details: http://www.cwsi.net/delta.htm or http://www.delta.com/components/help...king/cabin.jsp
"P" appears to refer to a discounted first class fare. |

It is a discounted 1st class seat as mentioned. But it is not "If there open seats", you will be in the 1st class cabin.

Yes P is dismounted First Class and probably all that was left on a Friday night. BTW it is FARE not FAIR though sometimes these fares can seem not FAIR at all :)

You are correct that it's FARE, not FAIR. And it's DISCOUNTED, not DISMOUNTED.;)
: transitive verb 1: to throw down or remove from a mount or an elevated position; especially : unhorse :):) I fixed it. |
The P Fair? So THAT'S what the 11 Alive WIZometer's for! :D
