DTW to AVP vs. DTW to ABE... reliability
 

Might have just answered this myself, but interested in opinion from anyone with experience here.

Mid-February flight to either place to drive to Stroudsburg after the flight.

Neither AVP or ABE is especially "on time" but the AVP flight from DTW shows 8% cancels on the outbound and 7% on the return. The ABE flights have no cancel percent showing. AVP is also somewhat more prone to delay according to the stats showing.

ABE is less expensive to boot... but the drive from AVE is all Interstate and that seemed a smarter choice for possible winter weather challenges.

Re the flights... do those cancel percents indeed trigger a real-time reliability warning? Frankly, I was surprised at the difference since both places has CRJ commuter flight type planes.
