Ahhh.. it's that time of year again when this thread comes back alive from the "double dose" of status you see at the end of the year/January from those who earned status last year as well as those just now earning status this year.
If we're doing it.. this morning's ATL->PDX ended up at 98 on the upgrade list (out of 160 Y seats) for 0 available seats. Not the highest I've seen on this route, but one of the higher ones for a 739 (usually the 120+ lists are for 752/3s). As a DL Reserve Diamond I was #13 on the list for F and #4 for C+ on a $1200 H fare.
As is tradition, the gate agent cleared a standby pax into 10B (a C+ seat reserved for passengers with disabilities) instead of upgrading one of the multiple diamonds sitting in a middle seat.

Pretty sure he's being sarcastic. 12 is one of the shortest lists I've seen.
