CDG Question
 
So I am surprising my wife with a trip to Paris between Christmas and New Years. Was able to find Low Tier Business Class awards on the direct IAD-CDG return. My question is, on the return, how early do I need to arrive at CDG? I've connected through CDG many times (not fun) but have not originated a flight from there. The flight leaves at 10:30 am. Thanks for the advice!

I would suggest 2.5 hours (assuming no IRROPS). Hopefully you can then enjoy the lounge and the lovely 2E terminal for a bit without feeling stressed. Originating from there is a totally different game than the nightmare of making a tight connection there.
