MQM Calculation Question

I'm thinking of doing a mileage run in december. I would like to take advantage of the RDU double mqm promotion - if I originate in RDU and fly to SEA or San Fran, for example, but have to connect in ATL, will I get the double MQM bonus for the whole itinerary or just the ATL-RDU legs?

FYI, there's a 120 page thread about this promotion with lots of helpful information: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta...ound-trip.html

Hope you're not still using the default IBB settings for FT. I only see 45 pages, 40 posts per page. That saves a lot of page refresh time.

The whole Itin. Here is a tool to figure out exactly where you will land.

1. Enter your current MQMs
2. Enter your current RDMs
3. Enter your current status
4. Enter your fare class
5. Enter each leg of your trip on a separate line just like this:

RDU-ATL
ATL-LAX
LAX-ATL
ATL-RDU

You just have to figure out the additional 100% mqms (just double the number shown) and there you go. This tool is very accurate and I use it all the time.

FYI: You can enter entire trips on a single line, optionally with the price - for example:

RDU-ATL-LAX-ATL-RDU $350
