I would rather listen to 20 minutes of announcements in 3 different languages.

Why would that be considered a bad thing as you imply?

Are you suggesting that safety announcements should only be made in one language? (And obviously in the language that you speak)

"Deltalina, I'm very happy for you and I'm gonna let you finish, but United has the best safety announcements of all time!"

I can't speak for EVA777 but I took what they said to mean that they just don't like Kanye's music and listening to an announcement that you don't understand is less painful/boring, etc. than listening to his music.

So how did they introduced him??
"Lady and Gentlemen, if you look outside your window it's obvious that it's getting late and you maybe tired, but instead of honoring you request to enjoy the rest your flight in a peaceful manner, we are going to have Kanye rap over the PA."

"The music's bad and you should feel bad!"

Would've been very hard for me not to yell that. (Any Futurama fans out there?)

Especially since Delta is not likely to have installed Auto Tune on their PA systems...

Good grief! Can you please point out where I said this was a bad thing?

Thank you for taking time to fully read and digest my statement that is exactly what I was implying. I don't even dislike Kanye. There is a time and place for everything. At a time that is normally relaxing to me I don't need to hear useless non-sense over the PA.
