I am likely going from DM down to PM.

I've only got 65k MQM this year. I'll make PM definitely, but I'd have to have a very busy Q4 to make 125K again.

I'll miss being a DM.

Same, unless something comes up.

Since I couldn't get anything resembling reasonable fares HNL-TYO on DL in December (mainly because I'm flying right around the Honolulu marathon, and they've been full in coach for ages) I'm trying out HA's new HNL-HND run, and it looks like I'll thus stay a Platinum - although I might have 40,000 rollover MQMs.

DL Status

For me, it's ^. Went from PM to DM due to much more intl travel, looking good for DM at least through 2012.

So what say you, which direction is your status heading for next year?
Same for me. I became a DM two months ago following a year of increased international travel. I will have so many roll over MQMs that I will be a PM in February and possibly stay that way. DM through '12 works for me. BTW, when I became a DM and received the free SkyClub membership, they correctly also and correctly added my remaining 7 months on the new card.

Staying GM this year....

....but next year will have to say goodbye DL as I'm moving over to *A. The shame! The despair!

Joking. Chicken or pasta?

2004 GM
2005 GM
2006 GM<PM
2007 PM
2008 PM
2009 PM>GM
2009 GM>Dirt
2010 Dirt<FO/Silver (next week)
2011 FO<GM or PM

Took 2009 and 1/2 201o off from travel. 2010 has been a rough road back, I am longing for even the meager benefits of FO/Silver........................

I'm Hoping to Remain Diamond

I'm hoping to go down to RDU to fly to NRT early next month; that will put me over 125k MQMs.

My wife will need about 46k MQMs to requalify for DM. She is looking at an RDU-SIN RT in M class, which should do the trick.

Will stay DM in 2011 and will start the year with about 117,000 miles due to roll-over. Should make DM for 2012 with my first 2011 trip .... Tokyo

Definitely lower. I'll be PExec on United this month and I'm about 4k miles away from being Silver, but I don't really care about Delta anymore. I'm sure the removal of perks was supposed to push people like me to Gold-- which I could've done-- but I'd rather just consolidate my flights onto one airline now and not fly Delta at all.
