Cancelling an award ticket online and redepositing award miles into account: How?
I need to cancel an award ticket that I booked online. I want the miles redeposited into the SkyMiles account. I am aware there is a $150 fee. Can I do this online, or do I need to call Delta? As I look at the reservation online, I do see an option to "cancel itinerary." However, I have not yet clicked that option because I don't know what comes next. Will I be given the option to redeposit the miles for $150, or does it simply cancel the reservation and miles are lost? Does anyone have any experience they can share? Thank you.
