Delta Iphone App - Fly Delta
Was searching the app store and saw the Delta Iphone app - Fly Delta. Haven't seen any mention of it. Looks like it was quietly released on the 27th. Seems well polished albeit pretty basic.

After using it a bit:
Its a great start thats for sure... very smooth. Still pretty basic info but displayed well and not too many bugs yet. This is great great news!

It is a slick app. I really like the interface. However, it is still pretty basic in its capabilities. You can see your trips, check in on the app (and have an electronic boarding pass), see flight schedules, and check flight status.
However, you cannot track your Medallion status or book flights like you are able to on American's app. Southwest also lets you book flights on their app. Let's hope these additional functionalities are coming soon!

Nice first iteration. Some things I'd like to see are:
- Ability to show GIDS like display for your upcoming departing flight.
- Show Gate Info in the My Trips section instead of having to click flight.
- Notifications of flight changes/delays
- Ability to change flight
- iPad Version

Thanks for posting this, skhullar. SMI said it was coming but never followed up to tell us it was already out.
Found it in the Apps store under the name, Fly Delta. Official release date is today. Looking forward to trying it out later.

Delta Web Page on iPhone App
Its nice to see it can be used with GoGo free of chare like Delta.com, that will make a very convienent way to check on connections.
I've got 5 itineraries and every time I click on "my flights" it takes quite some time to load that age.

Am I overlooking arrival and departure gate information?
I don't see that anywhere in my info or even just using flight status. Is it too early in the day for me or is that info not available? I see everything else and it looks pretty nice but gate information is what I really need at my fingertips.
