SkyPriority security line
As a Platinum, is one allowed to take a non-elite guest or guests through the Skypriority security line? I assume yes, but given that I am flying out of LAX on Thursday AM I just wanted to be sure- lines can be pretty rugged at that time.
Thanks for any help. |
I have taken a non-elite person thru with me on several occasions.

I have not had trouble taking my wife thru the elite line. Probably depends in the airport, the phase of the moon, and most importantly, the mood of the line attendant. |
I have never had a problem taking one traveling companion through.

I've taken my entire family with no issues.

SKY PRIORITY lines are not for family & friends!!!
i now know the folks dat cause the traffic at the security lines.....
The signs clearly state "first class, biz, elite members" and not FAMILY lane....there is a family lane if you were not aware..... or get to the airport early, so your folks can avoid long wait times......I make it an effort to alert the TSA agents when i notice wandering folks in line.....its the same as "cutting through" the line..... |
^ You can board the plane using Priority access if travelling with somebody in a lower zone, what is the difference?

Even with my young kids, my wife & I are efficient & probably faster than @ least half the pax. And for those who say they do not want families in the priority line, don't forget that they "could" be in paid F & just as entitled to that line as anyone else. edited for clarity. |
At DTW you can take whomever you wish even if that is 10 of your newest friends! ;)

Seriously...I'm like, um, is this your first flight this decade? I'm always amazed at the lack of organization some frequent flyers have at the security checkpoint. I was behind the flight crew this AM, that's always snappy... |

My kids rock! I love the look on their faces when waiting for a guy with his laptop, belt, phones, keys, shoes, etc. Y-A-W-N. |

A year or so ago had a guy with his panties all bunced up about "people in the line that shouldn't be". Let him go around and then waited for him at the x-ray as he unloaded enough electronics to open a store. Best thing was when my 4 year old said "daddy, why was he in such a hurry and now we have to wait for him"
