Diamond Luggage Tags
Howdy,
Just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting replacements or extras for the 2 we got at the beginning of the year? I've gotten a wide variety of responses from Delta staff, ranging from "nope, no replacements, cost-saving measures" to "call corporate".

I had mine replaced after they were ripped off my bag two years ago. I did take several months of calling and emailing to finally get them.

For sale: 2 Diamond Medallion Luggage tags. "Charter Member" collectible version. Slightly scuffed up but this we know there were only 32k made and now we also know that at least one set is gone (the OP's).

I actually didn't get my packet until 3 weeks ago. My Diamond credentials were earned last year (140 segments straight up) and Delta couldn't seem to send me the packet with DM card, luggage tags, etc. Fortunately they did send me my SkyClub membership card and I received that in the spring. It took 4 calls to get the packet.

Any stories one way or the other on how DL responds if a gate-check bag shows up without this unique tag? I don't get MM tags any more (currently at 1.5 MM) or I might use one of those.

I keep a Global Entry tag on my checked baggage. My understanding is they don't give those tags out anymore and don't replace them. So far, zero openings of the bag since that tag has been on there, but that could be coincidence.

My DM tags are on a dresser in my room.
They are too big to even think about attaching to a bag, let alone hoping to last very long on all the flights.
My NW 2008 plat tags have survived all the flights that they need to.
