Better Redeye flight

I'm about to make a change to a reservation and I'm curious to what some of you think about which plane is more comfortable in F for a redeye.

9/4/10
DL 2454
LAX-ATL
10:55PM-6:16AM
767-300 (appears to be 76Q) LAX-ATL

or

9/5/10
DL 2268
LAX-MSP
12:45AM-6:18AM
757-300

I run from the 763 like the devil runs from the cross...

Also, MSP, neat little airport! :)

I like the 767 for red-eye flights. Though the seats are slightly more narrow, there is more leg room. Also, the 767 will have TV/movies to choose from just in case I can't sleep. The 757-300 doesn't have TV/movies.

I hope the overnite flight is enjoyable!!!

I also favor the 763 -- but given this choice, that wouldn't even be a factor in my decision.

LAX-MSP is a short, short flight -- nearly 500 miles shorter than LAX-ATL, so you have much less opportunity to sleep. Plus there are no showers in the SkyClubs in MSP.

Not that any domestic redeyes are long enough to get a decent night's sleep, but every little bit helps!

Any chance of routing via JFK? At least there, it's the BusinessElite seats across the county and is 500 miles more than via ATL; more sleep in a more comfortable seat.

Longest flight possible - no question about it.

I'm making a change to an international award flight to SE Asia. I had originally wanted to stay overnight in LA, but the friends we were going to stay with are going to be out of town. So we're looking to redeye back. The low award choices in F are either through ATL or MSP. I've been looking for the JFK flight, but after looking around on multiple dates it seems as if they don't put the LAX-JFK or JFK-LAX nonstops available for a F award. Oh well...maybe we will be able to SDC to the JFK flight, but I'm not going to count on that.

The 757-300 uses flipdown overhead LCD screens for movies.

Which is even worse when you're trying to sleep.
