How often does this happen?

You have a K outbound and U return then there is a change of over 3 hours on the return last weekend. So SMS rebooks to a different day to protect my interests in equipment, routing, and connections and at the same time upgrades the U to Y then immediately confirms me in FC. Since I will be DM by then, I took this as a gesture of good will.

I have to call SMS today because there are monster changes to my IST trip and every segment of the run to SJC the following week. SMS today says it was a mistake to change me to Y and he moves me back to coach.

I have the itinerary from last week and have sent the email but am very disappointed in today's move. If I had simply done the itinerary change using the DL web then everything would have remained the same.

This happens as often on DL as people write a vague headline for their thread. ;)

you shouldn't of called :-P

the computer puts everyone into Y by accident all the time.

It has happened a few time and I learned not to call to protect my change to Y.

Yeah, I had a flight go MX on me this month and went back to the TA who rebooked me in Y for my remaining segments. He said it was difficult to make changes to my itin because the medallion desk was trying to protect me at the same time. When I got home, I saw that the first segment was indeed in Y, but the second was in K which was the original fare. So, was the TA mistaken or did the medallion desk take another look and make a correction? I'll probably never know.

Sounds like an employee correcting an error. If you are ticketed in k/u class then you don't receive the benefits if a y class ticket.

With apologies for the title, I have at least two emails from DL saying they are going to leave the return in FC. I sent one email after a DL agent from Singapore called asking for me to approve the use of miles or whatever.

Today a DL agent called from Singapore again asking for miles. I told her as I said in my email that I would prefer to go back to the original ticket and let the u/p system work as it does normally than to keep getting these calls from Singapore. She didn't seem to know what to do and the return email from DL when I made this suggestion simply confirmed they were going to leave the return in FC.

So who can I contact to just take the ticket back to the original status and go from there?

Darn, why can't any of my international flights ever go from T to Y with something like this? :D :D :D

Sounds like SLC. They continue to unimpress. :td:
