Upgrade Question
 

I am flying to Tahiti on my honeymoon: JFK TO LAX on Qantas run by AA and then LAX to Papeete, Tahiti, Qantas run by Air Tahiti Nui. IS there anyway to use my Delta skymiles or transfer them somehow to upgrade us to first on either of these flights? I am Silver Elite and from what I could see, Air Tahiti Nui is part of Skymiles. Thanks!

if you could it probably still be cheaper to buy first anyway with the fare class you;d have to be in. But i doubt it

Sounds to me like you have already purchased Qantas tickets (doesn't matter if the flights are on AA or Air Tahiti Nui metal thru a code share). Qantas has no relationship with Delta, so I don't know of any way you could get this accomplished thru Delta. Sorry.
