For those who haven't noticed yet, Gargoyle (a.k.a. Mr. Gargoyle and Evangelist Gargoyle) did a fantastic job of consolidating, editing, and ordering our questions for Delta executives. See the new post #2 in the thread.

General question for the organizers: Which specific events will require us to go through airport-style security checks? Obviously the Walk a Mile with ACS, but anything else on other days? I'm asking because I like to be sure to wear heavy socks and easy to remove shoes every time I must remove my shoes for security. I also like to minimize metal so that it's less likely that I'll lose something or leave it behind when I must remove it for the metal-detector.

Can an all plaid wardrobe be considered fashion sense?

I'm not even sure an all plaid wardrobe can be considered sense(able).

I thought that YOU were considering an all-plaid wardrobe.

Ladies' shoes come in all colors, and since I'm female, that's why I asked. I'd prefer to match, if possible.

Some of us NYC'ers add a little color. I'm wearing jeans today with my black shirt.

Only small bits of tasteful plaid/madras. That's how you can "Spot the Vuelos"

That is very true

Wouldn't that short-circuit the nude-o-scope?

If this were true, then all flyers would need to wear plaid for just one day to put them all out of commission. A new reason for a public holiday!

I am still building the list for late check-outs. Please let me know by PM as soon as you can if you want one. I know the schedule is still not quite settled. I hope this will be done soon, so we can get everything in place. 3 PM check-outs are available without charge or limit, 6 PM check-outs are available for $40 without limit, and I still have 3 check-outs at 5 PM for $25 available.

Should my 5 PM check-outs be over subscribed, I will keep a wait list due to the uncertainty about event ending times on Saturday and Sunday.

Remember your benefits as a registered guest using the FT rate include free parking and free Internet access.
Just a reminder that I'm still trying to build the list of late check-out requests. I still have one (maybe two) 5 PM requests that have not been spoken for.

A couple of folks asked if I was building a list of Hilton Gold members to ensure they get lounge access. It probably isn't necessary, but if you like you can PM me your confirmation number and registered name and I will add it to my list of Hilton Gold members.

I know there is still some uncertainty about event times. I hope these get finalized soon.

Thank you!
David H.
