[Question] Violation of Minimal Layover

Hello fellow FT'lers,

since DL.com is currently unable to offer my my usual booking and I am suffering the married segment problem, I was playing around with the multi-city option. I was able to locate a couple of acceptable routings, but ...

Many routings presented there have a quite small layover time, for instance 0:35h. Will I receive any penalty (such as a rebooking fee) when I miss a connection due to this short timing? Or is it solely DL that needs to accommodate me on a later flight?

35 minutes is a legal connection. If you miss, DL will rebook you.

Thirty-five minutes can be a legal connection, but may not be at every airport, between every carrier, international-to-domestic, etc. If delta.com or some other GDS access (Orbitz, etc.) tickets it w/o problems, it was almost certainly legal at time of ticketing.

I booked that itin, primarily to avoid AF/KLM. Let's see how that works out  DL.com was unable to book it: "this fare just sold out" but DL phone reservations was able to proce and book it.

AndyTLe and 3Cforme thank you for your ongoing support!
