+2 -- we've been lucky so far, but it would be nice to be able to find and book award tickets online and not have to pay the $20 fee.

Naturally, I would be absolutely furious if I were able to find a r/t ticket TLV-USA in Biz Elite at a reasonable price.

Not that I expect anything to change... but might as well throw in my 2 Zimbabwe cents.

Delta, in particular management, and specifically revenue management, please get it through that despite what the theoritical numbers say, it will not increase your profits in the long run by running your award program this way.

Penny pinching may work on certain expenses, but penny pinching your frequent flyer program where you are supposedly rewarding your customers loyalty is counter-productive. This only leads to frustration and questioning of the value of flying Delta. At some point, people will just look for a more rewarding FFP.

Honestly, I understand why Delta would tighten the inventory awards, but if there's seats left over close to the departure date, just drop it to the low level and let people actually use their miles.

Before DL allows me to use 300K SM miles for low J awards, I won't fly with DL, period.

In addition, I am canceling my Amex card. I earn miles much more valuable on another airline's card.

When it's less miles to do a biz RTW than to fly LAX-SYD roundtrip almost all of the time in biz, it's time to give a +1.
